The MIT Basic+ is the advanced version of the MIT Basic, specifically developed for situations where maximum visibility and a larger display are required. We currently have 2 brand-new MIT Basic+ information trailers available, ready for immediate delivery from stock.
Like the MIT Basic, the MIT Basic+ features a hydraulically extendable mast that is manually 360° rotatable. The larger full-color LED display measuring 84 × 105 cm, with a 20 mm pixel pitch, provides excellent readability and maximum attention value, even at greater distances.
With a length of 3,500 mm and a width of 1,700 mm, the trailer remains compact and easy to transport. The increased transport height of 3,159 mm makes this model ideal for projects where enhanced visibility is essential.
Robust and practice-oriented design
The hot-dip galvanized steel chassis is compact, durable, and designed for professional, intensive use. The MIT Basic+ is equipped with a braked axle with overrun braking and has a load capacity of 1,500 kg.
Thanks to four robust mechanical or hydraulic stabilising legs, the trailer remains stable even on uneven surfaces. For efficient transport and handling, the unit is fitted with four lifting eyes and forklift pockets on both sides, ensuring safe and easy loading and unloading.

LED display
The modern full-color LED display complies with all national requirements and the EN 12966 standard. Thanks to automatic brightness control, the screen remains clearly readable in bright sunlight as well as in low-light conditions. The intelligent lens technology ensures low energy consumption. Control is fully web-based via the MIT Connect platform.
Power supply
The MIT Basic+ is equipped with two high-efficiency solar panels and an intelligent SCM-25 solar charge controller, efficiently charging 4 to 8 batteries for extended operating times. Charging via the mains supply is also possible using the standard battery charger. The combination of energy-efficient LED technology and advanced solar panels ensures reliable and sustainable operation.
Operation & connectivity
With the MIT Connect platform, the MIT Basic+ can be controlled easily and in real time. This web-based application acts as your digital traffic control centre, providing immediate insight into the status of your entire fleet. Sending new symbols to the display, creating traffic scenarios, or deploying the trailer for traffic congestion detection is quick and intuitive.
